NAIL FUNGUS COURSE
This is a free course that is a combination of videos, resources, and product recommendations.
It is also a work in progress and to help you better I may add, delete, or alter information or videos based on your feedback.
This is my current treatment process videos may reflect previous treatment plans.
- Nail Sample - Take a nail sample to verify the organism before treatment.
- Review Options - My current options include topical treatment (5% effectiveness), laser treatments (20% effectiveness), oral treatment (50% effectiveness), combination therapy may increase effectiveness.
- Treatment Length - Usually treatment takes a year or longer. Many instances of incomplete cure come from incomplete treatment.
- Prevention - Preventing recurrence can be through periodic follow-up visits and/or shoe sterilizers and precautionary measures.
Please be aware that this course is not a substitute for medical care and ideally is used in conjunction with care by your podiatrist.
