I want to talk about soft tissue masses. These can be bumps underneath the skin that are painful or not. Some are caused by joint fluid or tendon fluid filling up a sack under the skin. The two main treatments for these are cortisone injections to reduce the size or removing them with surgery.
If you would like to learn more about soft tissue masses here is presentation about common foot problems with a section on ganglion cysts that is one of the most common conditions we treat. Click HERE to see the presentation.
