Do you barefoot?

I had a patient come in today and ask if I only treated older patient.  That is probably because most of my posts are about diabetes, wounds and other foot problems.  I will try to include some more information about other items that I treat.

So about barefoot running....

Many patients come in and ask what I think about barefoot.  Well if you live in Africa or South America and have never been in shoes or sat down all day you may be okay.  But most of us are used to sitting down all the time and our muscles get very tight and our foot and everything tied to it doesn't work too well.  To start read this article my colleague Dr. Feldman wrote about avoiding foot pain when running.
